基于InCites数据库的研究人员科研评价——以A高校2017—2021年新进博士为例

【摘要】 InCites数据库可以对研究人员的科研表现进行全方位、多角度的深度分析。以A高校2017—2021年间新进博士为例,探查其SCI论文产出是否具有优势,利用InCites数据库,对其SCI论文产出的表现与A校研究人员总体的表现进行比较,发现新进博士的人均发文、篇均被引、人均被引、Q1期刊发文占比、国际合作论文数占比及排名前10%的论文数占比各项指标的均值均高于A校整体水平的均值,说明新进博士对学校的科研发展起到了助推作用。该案例展示了如何利用InCites数据库进行研究人员科研评价的方法和过程,可以为相关的研究提供有益参考,继而为管理决策提供客观数据支撑。

【Abstract】 InCites database can provide researchers with all-round and multi-angle in-depth analysis of their scientific research performance.Taking the newly enrolled doctors of the A university from 2017 to 2021 as an example to explore whether their SCI paper output has advantages.This study compares the output performance of their SCI papers with the overall performance of researchers in the A university by using the InCites database.It is found that the average value of each index of the per capita number of papers published,per paper cited,per capita cited,the proportion of papers published by Q1 journals,the proportion of international cooperation papers and the proportion of papers ranked in the top 10% of newly enrolled doctors are all higher than the average of the overall level of the A university,indicating that the newly enrolled doctor has played a boosting role in the scientific research and development for the university.The case shows the methods and processes how to use the InCites database to conduct the scientific research evaluation of researchers,which can provide useful reference for relevant research and further provide objective data support for management decision-making.
