【Abstract】 Peasants’ education is one of the basic issues both in China’s transition from an traditional country to a modern one and in the country’s modernization construction. As a social practice that serves the modernization construction and is dominated by the state, peasants’ education aims at transforming traditional peasants into modern citizens, and the motivation, type and mode are diversified and pluralistic as they are all affected by the long-term, regional and gradual nature of China’s national modernization construction. Peasants’ education is the product of the interaction of internal and external, historical and realistic, subjective and objective factors, and plays an important role in enhancing the national identity and promoting the modernization of national governance system and capacity in practice.更多还原
