【摘要】 民国时期传统的乡村社会教育千疮百孔，呈现衰败景象。彼时知识分子满腔热忱掀起的社会教育思潮及乡村建设运动，因脱离中国乡土实际而多以失败告终。以全体民众为施教对象的民众图书馆自觉地将启发民智视为自身使命，在城乡大地积极开展弹性阅读服务，对僻居乡间的农民群体阅读予以高度关注，在增加民国时期农民读书识字机会，提高农民生产技能，保存乡村文化等方面发挥了积极作用。更多还原

【Abstract】 During the period of the Republic of China,traditional rural social education was riddled with holes and showed signs of decline.At that time,the social education thought trend and the rural construction movement initiated by the enthusiastic intellectuals often ended in failure because they were divorced from the reality of China’s rural areas.The civilians library,which takes all the people as its teaching object,consciously regards enlightening the ignorant farmers as its own mission,actively develops flexible reading services in urban and rural areas,and pays great attention to the reading of farmers living in isolated villages.It has played an active role in improving farmers’ production skills and preserving rural culture.更多还原
