正十八烷基化聚(苯乙烯-co-马来酰亚胺)梳状聚合物制备及表征
Preparation and characterization of octadecylated poly(styrene-co-maleimide)comb-like polymer
【摘要】 为探究由聚(苯乙烯-co-马来酸酐)(SMA)和正十八烷基胺(C18NH2)所构成的梳状聚合物主侧链间不同键接方式对其结构和性能的影响,以SMA为主链,以C18NH2为侧链,通过酰胺反应(开环反应)和酰亚胺反应(闭环反应),制备了十八烷基化聚(苯乙烯-co-马来酸酐)(SMAC18N)和聚(苯乙烯-co-马来酰亚胺)(SMIC18N)梳状聚合物;通过傅里叶红外光谱(FTIR)、X射线衍射(XRD)、差示扫描量热分析(DSC)、热重分析(TGA)等方法对比研究了SMAC18N和SMIC18N梳状聚合物的热行为和结晶行为。结果表明:SMAC18N出现明显侧链结晶行为,而SMIC18N未出现热行为和结晶现象;SMIC18N的热失重温度为370℃,而SMAC18N为202℃;SMIC18N表现出明显疏水能力,疏水角为101.9°。这说明主侧链键接方式对侧链烷基有序堆积结构和热性能有显著影响。
【Abstract】 In order to explore the influence of different bonding methods between the main side chains of comb-like polymers composed of poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride)(SMA) and n-octadecylamine(C18NH2) on its structure and performance, octadecylated poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride)(SMAC18 N) and poly(styrene-co-maleimide)(SMIC18 N) comb-like polymers were prepared via amide reaction(ring opening reaction) and imide reaction(ring-closing reaction) with SMA as the main chain and C18NH2 as the side chain. The thermal and crystallization behavior of SMAC18 N and SMIC18 N comb-like polymers were compared and studied by Fourier temperature infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), X-ray diffraction(XRD), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermogravi-metric analysis(TGA) and other methods. The results showed that SMAC18 N had obvious side chain crystallization behavior, while SMIC18 N had no thermal behavior and crystallization. The thermal weight loss temperature of SMIC18 N was 370 ℃, while SMAC18 N was 202 ℃. SMIC18 N showed obvious hydrophobic ability, with a hydrophobic angle of 101.9°. This showed that the main side chain bonding mode had a significant impact on the ordered stacking structure and thermal properties of side chain alkyl groups.
