【Abstract】 Entrepreneurial studies have showed that the traits of entrepreneurs are distinct from those of non-entrepreneurs, but they ignored the effect of narcissism and humility on entrepreneurship. The founder-CEOs’ narcissism promotes technological diversification, while their humility restrains technological diversification; the personality trait of balanced narcissism and humility of founder-CEOs has no significant effect on technological diversification. Further studies conclusively shows that the founder-CEOs’ narcissism promotes unrelated technological diversification, their humility restrains related technological diversification; the personality trait of balanced narcissism and humility doesn’t significantly affect the unrelated and related technological diversification. This paper not only advances the study of narcissism and humility in entrepreneurship, but also provides new explanations for the antecedents of enterprises’ technological diversification.更多还原
