【Abstract】 Lao-Tzu creatively presented the idea of "cherishing the teacher" and took it as the essential secret to build a peaceful world in the age of great change alternating the old and the new. He also systematically illustrated philosophical thoughts on teachers which were embodied with the keystone of natural orientation. In the view of Lao-Tzu, the teacher is the follower of nature who should adhere to practical essentials "taking natural activity and wordless teaching" as well as development paths "studying accumulates wisdom and practicing Tao reduces desire". These thoughts have an important enlightenment to rescue the spiritual crisis and improve the living circumstances of contemporary teachers. Teachers should form the consciousness of "teaching towards Tao", deal with the relationship between "Tao" and "profits" as well as "Tao" and "skills", and internalize the significance that "Tao" is the fundamental educational connotation of human growth.更多还原
