【Abstract】 In September 1937, an anti-Japanese national united front based on Kuomintang-Communist cooperation was formed. In accordance with the United Front policies and strategies of the CPC Central Committee,the Guangdong provincial party committee and the Northern Guangdong provincial party committee have actively developed progressive forces in colleges and universities in northern Guangdong, admitted a number of party members, and transmitted strength to the anti-Japanese armed forces in South China. Meanwhile, they have actively strived for the middle forces, won over the middle teachers and students in various ways, and made them become a reliable ally of the party.
