【Abstract】 During the past ten years, heart failure has become the only cardiovascular disease showing an increasing trend worldwide, and the incidence rate of heart failure gradually increases as the population ages. Patients with end-stage heart failure tend to have poor quality of life, require multiple hospitalizations, and have high mortality rates, and finally they may require heart transplantation. However, due the limitations such as the lack of donors, immune rejection after transplantation, and high post-transplantation costs, heart transplantation is not suitable for all patients with end-stage heart failure. The rapid development of artificial hearts in recent years has brought hope for the treatment of patients with end-stage heart failure, and some patients have achieved survival benefits.
