【摘要】 英国高等教育学科专业目录经历了从高等教育统计局编码系统到综合学术编码系统再到高等教育学科分类代码体系和通用聚合层次结构的转变，每个新的代码体系都意在解决旧体系的缺点，其间有经验也有教训：学科专业分类系统若是不被众多组织机构采用则难逃被淘汰的命运；相关配套实施方法与辅助文件有利于学科专业分类系统更好地发挥信息统计等服务支持作用；系统开发前的调查、开发后的定期维护有利于维持学科专业分类系统的有效性。前述经验和教育启示我国在调整高等教育学科专业目录时可借鉴英国的经验，按照统一的学科专业分类编码框架，确定统一的实施方法；缩短更新周期，及时调整变化；征询更多利益相关者的意见，科学调整学科专业分类。更多还原

【Abstract】 The subject classification in British higher education has undergone a transition from HESACODE to JACS,from JACS to HECoS and CAH.Every time the new code system is intended to solve the shortcomings of the old system,but there are experiences and lessons.The subject classification system will be eliminated if it cannot be adopted by numerous organizations.Corresponding supporting implementation methods and assisting files are beneficial to the subject classification system better playing the service and supporting role of information statistics.The investigation before system development and the regular maintenance after development are beneficial to the effectiveness of maintaining the subject classification system.It suggests that we should make the following efforts in adjusting the catalogue of subjects and specialties in China’s higher education including determining the unified implementation methods according to the unified coding framework of the classification of subjects,shortening the update cycle and adjusting in a timely manner,and consulting more stakeholders for opinions and scientifically and rationally adjusting the classification of subjects.更多还原
