【Abstract】 In view of the defects in high and steep slope reinforcement, such as great construction difficulty and long construction period, the traditional drilling rig and drilling rig platform were updated according to the installation and construction process of drainage nails. A drilling rig and drilling rig platform suitable for reinforcing the slopes of existing railways were developed. The specific structures of the updated drilling rig and drilling rig platform were outlined. On the basis of the updated drilling rig and drilling rig platform, general provisions on drainage nail construction were proposed, and technical preparations, machine preparations, and working conditions required for drainage nail construction were described as well.
