论文下载频次、引用频次和下载转化率关系的研究——以Web of Science数据库中图情学科为例

【摘要】 [目的/意义]探讨论文下载频次、引用频次和下载转化率三者之间的关系,对论文影响力评价和期刊建设具有一定参考意义。[方法/过程]以SCI数据库收录的2013—2017年期间发表的图情学科论文对象,采用关联分析法找出影响下载频次、引用频次和下载转化率的因素,并通过问卷调查进行验证。[结果/结论]论文下载频次和下载转化率与论文数量之间的关系由二次函数和幂律函数共同构成,具有长尾特征;除论文质量之外,期刊层面、作者层面、论文层面参数与论文下载转化率的关联越来越弱;下载频次、被引频次和下载转化率与国家的语言和科技发达程度有较大关联,英语国家和科技发达国家的论文具有更高的下载转化率。

【Abstract】 [Purpose/significance]Exploration on the relationship among paper download frequency citation frequency and download conversion rate is of reference significance to influence evaluation of papers and journal construction. [Method/process] Based on the papers in information science & library science published in SCI database from 2013 to 2017,the factors affecting download frequency,citation frequency and download conversion rate were found out by correlation analysis,and tested by questionnaire investigation. [Result/conclusion] The relationship among paper download frequency,download conversion rate and the number of papers is a combination of quadratic function and power-law function,which has a long tail. In addition to the quality of papers,the correlation between journal level,author level and paper level parameters and paper download conversion rate is becoming weaker and weaker. Download frequency,citation frequency and download conversion rate are closely related to language and Sic&Tech level of countries. Papers from English speaking countries and Sic&Tech developed countries have higher download conversion rate.
