多层线性回归方法在增值评价中的应用
Hierarchical Linear Modeling and Its Application in Value-Added Evaluation
【摘要】 增值评价是教育评价体系的重要组成部分。已有研究表明,开展增值评价虽有不少方法,但在处理分层嵌套数据时,只有多水平分析方法最合适。不过,一线教育评价工作者在理解和使用多水平分析方法时具有较大难度。借助一元线性回归分析思路,结合一个增值评价实例,解读多水平分析中的多层线性回归模型的使用方法,为一线教育评价工作者实施基于多层线性回归的增值评价工作提供参考。
【Abstract】 Value-added evaluation is one of the important components of educational evaluation. Previous studies indicate that there are several useful methods for value-added evaluation,but the multilevel modeling is the only suitable one for dealing with nested data. However,it is a big challenge for school teachers to understand and use multilevel modeling to conduct value-added evaluation. This paper introduces the hierarchical linear model(HLM),which is the simplest of the multilevel models,by comparing it with the linear regression model. An empirical study was conducted with HLM which can demonstrate for school teachers how to deal with nested data in their educational evaluation.
