【Abstract】 The spirit of scientist is a long-term accumulation of precious spiritual wealth by scientists and technologists in practice.Under the guidance of Marx′s theories of Sci-tech innovation and of spiritual motivation, the spirit of scientist aims at absorbing from the advanced cultures of the world in accordance with Chinese characteristics and that of the times, hence highlighting the spiritual outlook that conforms to the resolution and character of Chinese scientists. In practice, the spirit of scientist has been developed throughout four stages: the ideal of saving the country through science by self-reliant development in science and technology; the practice of the concept of serving the country through science to achieve breakthroughs in self-reliant development in science and technology; the reinvigoration of the country through science and education to realize the liner development of science and technology; and the strengthening of the country′s development through science to promote self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology. It is helpful to promote the spirit of scientist, so as to shape a shared value for the scientific and technological community. This research also suggests that being spiritually self-reliant is critical to promote the self-reliance of science and technology,which would provide a strong spiritual impetus for making China a world-class power in science and technology.更多还原
