【Abstract】 Xi Jinping’s important exposition on the work of labor unions is the guiding ideology of labor union work in the new era and the theoretical basis for the construction of socialist labor unions with Chinese characteristics. The exposition clearly indicates the nature,content and direction of the work of China’s labor unions in the new era,scientifically answers the distinct characteristics of the work of labor unions in the new era,which are political,advanced and mass,and points out the realistic path and future development direction of the work of labor unions.
