【Abstract】 Xi Jinping’s important exposition on capital has scientifically answered the major political and economic question of how to use capital to comprehensively promote socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and opened up a new realm of Marxist political economy. On the basis of adhering to the development direction of capital in socialist society, Xi Jinping ’s important exposition has deepened the understanding of the nature of capital in socialist society. By deepening the functional practice of capital in socialist society, we have promoted the development of socialist society, maintained and increased the value of capital. By strengthening the legislative supervision of capital in socialist society, the order of capital operation in socialist society is regulated. By creating an open capital market in socialist society, the vitality of capital operation in socialist society is stimulated. Through optimizing the value goals of capital in a socialist society, we have guided capital in a socialist society to pursue common prosperity.
