【Abstract】 Liu Zhiji made a great contribution in his book Shitong: Liujia that divided the styles of "all histories" into six schools,but there are many obvious shortcomings. So our understanding of it should be clear and accurate. First, the object of its division is "national history(official history)", but whether it is available is relatively vague.
