【Abstract】 Under the "the Belt and Road" initiative, the Ministry of Education has promoted the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" education initiative, resulting in a blowout in the number of overseas students in China in a short time. Doing well in the ideological and political education of overseas students is an important part of the implementation of "who to train people, what kind of people to train, and how to train people". The ideological and political education of foreign students has its particularity and complexity, and the domestic experience in this field is scarce.
