【Abstract】 Rare earth is an important strategic resource in China and has the reputation of “industrial vitamins”.Although the importance of rare earth materials is well known in the industry, there are few related contents in undergraduate education. The course of Approaching to Rare Earth Materials explores the application field of rare earth elements in depth, explains its application principle, and aims at keeping close to practical problems. It also clarifies the relevant knowledge of this new material to students, and enables them to understand the development trend of China’s rare earth industry. In addition, practical teaching mode is explored in the teaching to cultivate students’ ability of asking questions initiatively, including independent research, teamwork consciousness, the quality of applying knowledge to practice and rigorous research.更多还原
