【Abstract】 The original aspiration and mission of the socialist education with Chinese characteristics is to foster morality and cultivate talents for the party and the country.Ideological and political courses in colleges and universities are an important approach to fulfill this fundamental mission, involving the interactive relationship between the party and the country, college teachers, and students.The college students needed by the party and the state are the new generation who are responsible for national rejuvenation and the socialist builders and successors who have all-round development—moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetical, and physical.Therefore, among the educational staff members, teachers of ideological and political courses play vital roles as theory pioneers, mass communicators and intermediaries.To fulfill their essential roles, they must be firm believers in Marxism for only those who have faith can teach faith and only those whose deeds comply with their words can strengthen students’ conviction of following the party; they must derive pleasure from education, take the initiative and stimulate students’ enthusiasm for only when both teachers and students take delight can the learning objectives be achieved.更多还原
