【Abstract】 Although the French enlightenment thinker Montesquieu is mainly concerned with his intellectual contributions to law and political science,his works contain rich economic thought. His economic ideas are elaborated to discuss the issues in law and political science, involving many aspects of economics, such as macroeconomics,finance,public finance,international economics,etc.,and many ideas still serve as an important inspiration for understanding the current economic issues. Studying Montesquieu’s economic thought and interpreting it according to modern economics help to better understand the development of French economics in the first half of the 18th century,and to enrich and perfect the study of the history of economic thought.更多还原
