【Abstract】 The art of narrative blank is becoming more and more mature in Mo Yan’s “Late Maturer” novels, both as narrative support and text structure blank. Narrative blank is mainly caused by the concealability of language, the existence of unnarrate events and the author’s subjective aesthetic pursuit. Narrative blank Outlines the whole group of characters with a few words in the novel text, which sublimates the main idea and connotation of the novel.
