高计数率多气隙阻性板室温度效应测试
Research on Temperature effect of High Rate Multi-gaps Resistive Plate Chamber for CBM
【摘要】 为了提高多气隙阻性板室(MRPC)探测器的定时精度,CBM实验采用了前放电子学直接插接在探测器上的设计方案。但是电子学在高计数率的实验条件下,自身发热会带来探测器工作气体环境温度的上升。针对低电阻玻璃的自身特性,本文对应用于CBM实验的高计数率MRPC2型探测器进行了温度实验,其结果可对未来CBM-TOF的运行提供参考。
【Abstract】 In order to improve the timing resolution of the eTOF MRPC detector,the CBM-TOF collaboration adopted a design in which the preamplifier electronics were directly plugged in the detector.However,under the experimental condition of high counting rate,self-heating of the electronics will increase the temperature of the working gas for the detector.Aiming at the characteristics of low-resistance glass,this paper conducts temperature effect tests on the high rate MRPC2 detector used in CBM experiments,and the results shall provide guidance for the future operation of CBM-TOF.
