大规模面阵分级波束形成算法研究

【摘要】 为了解决大规模阵列宽带数字波束形成系统实现复杂这一问题,结合子阵内波束合成对相位不敏感的特性,设计了一种基于子阵的分级波束形成算法。首先根据阵列合成带宽、频段、阵列规模等信息参数确定子阵规模,在子阵内利用移相器进行移相处理,实现窄带模拟波束合成;其次在子阵间利用FIR滤波器对宽带信号进行时延的精确控制,实现宽带数字波束合成,从而完成对子阵内波束合成误差的调整;最后对大规模面阵分级波束形成算法进行仿真试验。结果表明:基于子阵的分级波束形成算法能够实现满足要求的波束性能指标,同时可以有效降低大规模面阵宽带数字波束形成系统的实现复杂度。所设计的基于子阵的分级波束形成算法可应用在大规模相控阵波束形成中,对工程实现有一定的参考价值。

【Abstract】 In order to solve the problem of complex implementation of large-scale array broadband digital beamforming system, combined with the phase insensitive characteristic of beamforming in subarrays, a hierarchical beamforming algorithm based on subarrays was designed.Firstly, the size of the sub-array was determined according to the information parameters such as the array synthesis bandwidth, frequency band, and array size.The phase shift processing in the sub-array was performed to achieve narrow-band analog beam synthesis by using a phase shifter.Secondly, the FIR filters were used to precisely control the time delay of the broadband signal between the sub-arrays to realize the broadband digital beam synthesis, thereby the adjustment of the beam synthesis error in the sub-array was completed.Finally, a simulation test on the large-scale area array hierarchical beamforming algorithm was performed.The results show that the sub-array-based hierarchical beamforming algorithm can achieve the required beam performance indicators, and at the same time it can effectively reduce the implementation complexity of the large-scale area array broadband digital beamforming system.The designed sub-array-based hierarchical beamforming algorithm can be applied to large-scale phased array beamforming, which has certain reference value for engineering realization.
