【Abstract】 Strengthening the development of grass-roots teaching organization is a must for promoting the high-quality development of higher education.Building virtual teaching and research section(VTRS) is an essential trial for the development of new grass-roots teaching organization in the information Era.This paper has firstly introduced the necessities of building VTRS，and then explored the construction of the VTRS of “Medical Statistics” course from the perspectives of new-type teaching and research forms，quality teaching resources mutually built and shared，cross-campus and cross-regional teaching communication and training，and reform on teaching contents and methods，based on the cultivation of national first-class courses，which aims to improve teachers’ ability to impart knowledge and cultivate students，and improve the quality of talent training.更多还原
