【Abstract】 The theory of dual narrative progression is not only significantly innovative in the field of narratology, but also plays an important role in promoting literary theory itself, especially in thinking about the relationship between literature and reality in Marxist literary criticism. As a mediator, the covert progression of the dual dynamics effectively connects the text and society, and becomes the third crucial part between literature and social context. Dual narrative progression provides a new basis for socio-historical aesthetic theory, which is very much in the same vein as Adorno and Jameson’s theory that treats form itself as being social and political. At the same time, this ternary interpretation model has much practical value in contemporary literary criticism and cultural studies.更多还原
