基于Excel的模拟程序在生化反应工程课程教学中的应用
Employment of an Excel-based simulation program in the bioreaction engineering teaching
【摘要】 生化反应工程是基于反应动力学原理,结合生化反应过程衍生而来的兼具理论研究价值和工程应用价值的专业学科,也是生物工程专业本科教学过程中的一门重要课程。然而,由于生化反应过程影响因素多,反应步骤复杂,其动力学过程分析通常会涉及到复杂方程的计算,对学生理解与应用反应工程理论造成了困难。为此,笔者提出采用一种基于Excel VBA开发的程序,可实现对生化反应的动力学过程进行模拟与分析,所用软件本体常见,操作过程简单,可辅助学生运用反应工程理论实现反应器模拟设计以及动力学过程的分析,有助于加深学生对反应工程理论知识的理解,提升学生对课程学习的兴趣,适合于生物工程专业本科学生的教学活动。
【Abstract】 The course of bioreaction engineering is built on the principles of reaction kinetics combined with biochemical processes. It is a professional subject with both theoretical and industrial application value, and it builds an important part in the undergraduate education of Bioengineering major. On the other hand, unlike chemical engineering processes, bioreactions are usually composed of reaction schemes with complexity, leading to the difficulties for students to simulate and understand their kinetic processes. This manuscript described a program developed based on Excel Visual Basic. The program is able to assist undergraduate students to resolve the mathematical difficulties when simulating and analyzing the kinetics of bioreactions without additional knowledges in computer science. It is also useful when employed to design a bioreaction process. The integration of the program into bioreaction engineering teaching can significantly improve students’ understandings about reaction kinetics and help to raise the studying interests in learning this course.
