【Abstract】 The National Salvation of Students, The New Hunan(Weekly) and The New Hunan(Monthly) were three journals founded by Hsiang-Ya Medical School during the May 4th Movement. The National Salvation of Students was renamed as The New Hunan(Weekly) after its fifth issue, and as The New Hunan(Monthly) at later time. Mao Zedong was appointed as the Editor-in-chief from its seventh issue and the journal became more revolutionary than before. The New Hunan(Weekly) and The New Hunan(Monthly) show a great difference in the basic elements including its purpose. The finding of the original copies of the journals revealed the great deeds of HsiangYa students in opposing imperialism and feudalism and saving the country by way of education.更多还原
