Evaluation of the effect and incidence of adverse reactions of modified traumatic large bone flap surgery in the treatment of severe brain trauma
【Abstract】 Objective To explore the effect and incidence of adverse reactions of modified traumatic large bone flap surgery in the treatment of severe traumatic brain injury. Methods 60 patients with severe brain trauma who were admitted to our hospital from July 2017 to July 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into reference group(conventional traumatic large bone flap surgery) and research group(modified traumatic large bone flap surgery) according to different surgical methods, with 30 cases in each group. The Glasgow coma scale(GCS) score before and after operation and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Before operation, there was no significant difference in GCS score between the two groups; after operation, the GCS score of the research group was significantly higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative adverse reactions in the research group was 3.33%, which was significantly lower than 16.67% in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified traumatic large bone flap surgery has significant effect on the treatment of patients with severe brain trauma, which can effectively improve the prognosis of patients, reduce the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions, and it is worthy of clinical application.
