包覆–球磨改性市政污泥制备新型纸包装材料

【摘要】 目的 为了解决我国市政污泥的处理处置以及缓解造纸原材料资源紧缺等问题,提出将市政污泥先用淀粉包覆后再进行球磨改性处理,并作为造纸填料制备纸包装材料的新思路。方法 探究球料比、球磨时间和球磨转速对污泥填料的粒径、Zeta电位,以及制备的纸包装材料性能的影响规律,通过分析其微观形貌和热稳定性,初步探索污泥基纸包装材料的成型机理。结果 实验结果表明,经球磨改性后可以有效减小淀粉包覆后污泥填料的中位粒径,降低其Zeta电位。污泥经淀粉包覆改性后制备的纸包装材料的力学性能得到显著提高,热稳定性更好。结论 市政污泥经淀粉包覆–球磨改性后制备的污泥基纸包装材料是一种理想的包装材料,为市政污泥在包装材料的高值化应用提供了一条新途径。

【Abstract】 This study provides a novel idea for ball milling modification treatment of municipal sludge after starch coating and application to prepare paper packaging materials as papermaking fillers, which can not only solve the problem of municipal sludge treatment and disposal in our country but also alleviate the shortage of papermaking raw material. The effects of the ball-to-material ratio, ball milling time, and ball milling speed on the particle size and Zeta potential of sludge, as well as the performance of the paper packaging material, were investigated. The forming mechanism of sludge-based paper packaging material was explored through analyzing micromorphology and thermal stability. The experimental results showed that the modification by ball milling can effectively reduce the median particle size of the starch-coated sludge filler and reduce its Zeta potential. The mechanical properties of the paper packaging materials prepared from the sludge modified by starch coating were significantly improved, and the thermal stability was better. The results indicated that sludge-based paper packaging material prepared by starch coating-ball milling modification was an ideal material for packing. This study also provided a new method for the high-value application of municipal sludge.
