【Abstract】 Chinese ethnic dance has a time-honored history of spreading to Malaysia, and during the long process of inheritance and evolution, it has formed today’s Malaysian Chinese dance. Based on the literary documents and field investigation, this paper explores the connotations and characteristics of Malaysian Chinese dance, as well as its relationship with Chinese ethnic dance. It finds that Malaysian Chinese dance has rich connotations and denotations, and has multi-cultural characteristics. It is not only an overseas branch of Chinese ethnic dance, but also an important component of the national culture of Malaysia. The paper aims to contribute to the definition and clarification of the relevant concepts of Malaysian Chinese dance, and the related study of overseas Chinese dance.更多还原
