常德保卫战与国民党媒体对余程万忠勇形象的建构
Changde Campaign and the Construction of Yu Chengwan’s Image by the Kuomintang’s Media
【摘要】 常德保卫战被国民党寄予厚望,作为守城主力的第五十七师师长余程万自然成为此役报道与宣传的中心,国民党媒体有意将其塑造成忠勇典型,以鼓舞民心、宣传抗战精神。1943年12月3日,余程万率部突围,此举虽为蒋介石等国民党高层所不容,但官方媒体在舆论宣传上并未改变原有的方向,“突围”一事从多个角度被解释为正面事件,余程万的忠勇形象依旧呈现在舆论空间。国民党媒体对余程万忠勇形象的维护与其战时宣传策略有密切联系,是抗战局势变化之下的必然之举,亦体现出国民党对党政军抗日形象的构筑与维护。
【Abstract】 The Kuomintang pay attention to Changde campaign.As the division commander of the 57th division which are the main force of this campaign, Yu Chengwan naturally became the focal point of the report.The Kuomintang’s media regard Yu Chengwan as a model of loyalty and courage, to inspire people participate in the Anti-Japanese War.On December 3,1943,Yu Chengwan abandoned the Changde and ran away.Although Chiang Kai Shek and other senior officials of the Kuomintang were very angry about this, the official media did not change the original direction in propaganda.The construction of Yu Chengwan’s image of loyalty and courage is closely related to propaganda strategy in wartime.This is a measure under the change of the situation of the Anti-Japanese War, which reflects the construction and maintenance of the National Government and the Kuomintang’s image.
