【Abstract】 Professor LIU Shen-lin believes that postoperative patient with gastrointestinal tumors usually are in a state of Qi and blood deficiency. In the field of traditional Chinese medicine,chemotherapy drugs are considered as the yin-cold drug-toxin,which can weaken the spleen and result into the water flow into the intestine,or cause the deficiency of spleen and kidney yang and result into the failure of warming and transporting the fluid,so as to develop the diarrhea. For the treatment of chemotherapy-induced diarrhea,Professor Liu addresses the importance of the cultivation and protection of the middle energizer and the congenital and postnatal yang Qi. He advocates a flexible usage of wind herbs and yang-warming herbs following syndrome differentiation and treatment and selecting treatment according to the etiological analysis. And the therapies of draining dampness to stop diarrhea,invigorating the spleen and warming yang can be used. This article introduces Professor Liu’s experience in treating chemotherapy-induced diarrhea,and two proven cases were presented.更多还原
