传播学视域下蒙古族文化术语英译中译者负面作用分析
An Analysis of the Translators’ Negative Effect on the Mongolian-English Translation of Mongolian Cultural Terms from the Perspective of Communication
【摘要】 蒙古族文化术语英译多出现在文学典籍、旅游外宣及展览公示信息中,现存蒙古族文化术语英译中存在的主要问题为不能将蒙古语源语所含的文化内涵有效地传达给受众者。本文采用传播学理论框架,以内蒙古旅游外宣文本和展览公示信息中的蒙古族文化术语英译为研究主体,分析探讨翻译活动中的传播要素——传播主体中"译者"的负面作用产生的原因和解决对策,以期促进作为中华文化有机组成部分的蒙古族文化对外有效传播。
【Abstract】 The main problem of the Mongolian-English translation of Mongolian cultural terms, which often appear in literature and the publicity texts of tourism and exhibition, is that the cultural connotation contained in the Mongolian source language cannot be conveyed to the targeted audience effectively. Based on the communication theory, this paper analyzes why translators have a negative effect on the Mongolian-English translation of Mongolian cultural terms and try to give some useful solutions in order to contribute to the export of Mongolian culture which is a part of Chinese culture.
