【Abstract】 Traditional philosophy provides epistemological support for the historical development of library. Library philosophy is the soul of library culture. The infinite questioning of Library noumenon highlights the essential characteristics of library existence. The reflection and criticism of the existing library thought makes a new leap in Library understanding, changes the existing library idea with great logical power, and constructs a new form of library existence. The globalization of library reform and transformation urgently needs the theoretical guidance of modern philosophy. Library philosophy is the knowledge of library knowledge and the science of library science.
