高功率高纯度远场矢量光束特性研究
Research on Characteristics of High Power and High Purity Far-field Vector Beam
【摘要】 传统的矢量光束自由空间光通信系统的载波为单光束,其远场光束因衍射而呈现低功率密度,不利于光接收.研究由阵列矢量光束相干合成的高功率高纯度远场矢量光束的特性.结果表明,由阵列矢量光束远场合成高功率高纯度的矢量光束,需要一定的建立距离,且子光束数量、离轴距离、束腰半径都直接影响建立距离.具体来说,子光束数量越多建立距离越短,最大光功率越高;缩短离轴距离可缩短高纯度矢量光束的建立距离,提高远场矢量光束的最大光功率;增大束腰半径同样能提高远场矢量光束的最大光功率,但延长了高纯度矢量光束的建立距离.
【Abstract】 In the traditional vector beam free space optical communication system, the carrier is only a single beam whose far-field beam exhibits low power density to the disadvantage of optical signal reception. We investigate the characteristics of the far-field vector beam array with high-power and high-purity. The results show that the far-field vector beam array with high-power and high-purity is coherently combined through a certain set-up distance, and the set-up distance is affected by some factors, such as, the number of sub-beams, off-axis distance and beam waist radius. Specifically, the larger the number of sub-beams, the shorter the set-up distance and the higher the maximum optical power. Reducing the off-axis distance can reduce the set-up distance and increase the maximum optical power. Increasing the beam waist radius can also increase the maximum optical power of the far-field vector beam, but extend the set-up distance.
