【Abstract】 As a chronic progressive inflammatory disease, periodontitis affects the health of the system to a certain extent.A large amount of statistical data proves that there is a high correlation between periodontitis and cardiovascular disease, but the connection mechanism is still controversial.In recent years, with the continuous in-depth research on periodontal disease and cardiovascular disease, domestic and foreign scholars have focused on the role of periodontal pathogens, long-term chronic inflammation, immune response, and endothelial damage.This article reviews the relationship between periodontitis and cardiovascular disease and its internal linkage mechanism, aiming to provide evidence for the prevention of cardiovascular disease in patients with periodontitis.更多还原
