【Abstract】 Macrophages play an important role in occurrence and development of atherosclerosis(AS) and local inflammation. AS plaque is an extremely complex microenvironment, and the role of macrophages is different in different types of plaques. Various effects of macrophages make it an effective target for anti-AS therapy. The present article makes a review on the mechanism of macrophages in occurrence and development of AS and vascular inflammation, as well as the microenvironment and functional regulation of macrophages in atherosclerosis, aiming at providing new method and strategy for AS treatment.更多还原
