正常人群颞骨茎突的锥形束CT研究
Study on the anatomy morphology of the temporal styloid process in healthy adults by cone beam computed tomography
【摘要】 目的研究正常人群颞骨茎突的形态,为临床诊断茎突综合征提供理论依据。方法挑选20~30岁无茎突综合征患者1000例(男女各500例),使用锥形束CT(cone beam computed tomography,CBCT)扫描,测量左右两侧颞骨茎突长度、体积、前倾角、内倾角,研究正常颞骨茎突的各项指标和特点。结果正常成人茎突的参数指标:双侧茎突长度分别为26.202±5.771mm和26.751±6.183mm (P>0.05);双侧茎突前倾角分别为31.721±4.495°和30.204±8.602°(P>0.05);双侧茎突内倾角分别为19.883±6.645°和22.605±6.334°(P<0.05);双侧茎突体积分别为202.966±13.826mm~3和224.489±14.746mm~3(P<0.05)。不同性别的双侧茎突长度与前倾角无明显差异(P>0.05),而双侧茎突内倾角和体积与性别有关(P<0.05)。结论 CBCT可清晰显示颞骨茎突影像,用于建立正常人群茎突的长度、角度、体积及对称性等参考数据,依此对临床诊断茎突综合征具有重要指导意义。
【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the anatomy morphology of the temporal styloid process in healthy adults,providing a theoretical reference for the clinical diagnose of styloid process syndrome. Methods A total of 1000 adults without styloid process syndrome(500 males and 500 females) underwent cone beam computed tomography(CBCT) scans to measure the length, volume, anteversion angle, introversion angle of the styloid process. Results The reference values of parameters of bilateral temporal styloid processes in healthy adults were: 26.202 ±5.771 mm and 26.751 ±6.183 mm in length(P >0.05), 31.721 ±4.495° and 30.204 ±8.602° in anteversion angle(P >0.05),19.883±6.645° and 22.605±6.334° in introversion angle(P>0.05), 202.966±13.826 mm3 and 224.489±14.746 mm3 in volume(P>0.05). There were no significant differences based on gender in the length and anteversion angle of bilateral temporal styloid processes(P >0.05), while the introversion angle and volume were statically different depending on the gender(P <0.05). Conclusion Based on the clear observation for temporal bone styloid processes via CBCT, the reference values of parameters of the temporal styloid process in healthy adults are acquired, providing valuable guidance for the clinical diagnose of styloid process syndrome.
