【Abstract】 The development of Xi’an Shiyou University in early stage(1951-1980) was full of difficulty and tortuosity, which can be regarded as the first pioneering stage of Xi’an Shiyou University.This paper firstly reviews the historical background and founding process of Xi’an Shiyou University, and summarizes the achievements of university in early stage on the aspects of talents cultivation and scientific research for petroleum industry.It is also pointed out that why Xi’an Shiyou University experiences so much difficulties and tortuosity in early stage is due to the change of petroleum industry center besides times background.更多还原
