面向超高清显示的nano-LED研究进展
Progress of nano-LED based ultra-high-definition display
【摘要】 随着日渐增长的对于显示器超高分辨率的需求,纳米级像元的概念已经被提出。纳米发光二极管(nano-LED)被认为是实现纳米级像元尺寸的万级像素密度发光显示器件的理想光源,能够应用于近眼显示、植入式显示、VR、AR等领域。介绍nano-LED器件的制备,纳米级RGB全彩显示的实现,纳米像元的寻址与驱动的前沿进展情况以及存在的挑战。
【Abstract】 With the growing demand for ultra-high resolution of displays, the concept of nano-scale pixel has been proposed. NanoLEDs are considered to be the ideal light source for achieving nanoscale pixel-density light-emitting display devices with 10 000 pixels per inch, which can be applied to near-eye display, implantable display, VR, AR and other fields. In this review, we will summarize the frontier development and existing challenges in the fabracition of nano-LED devices, the realization of nano-scale RGB fullcolor displays and directly addressable nano-LED arrays.
