【Abstract】 The Yellow River culture is an important part of Chinese civilization. Protecting the cultural heritage of the Yellow River, reinterpreting the era value contained in the Yellow River culture and inheriting the Chinese context will help strengthen cultural self-confidence and further carry forward the Yellow River culture. As an important base for cultural communication and scientific research, colleges and universities pay more attention to the research of the Yellow River culture, cognitive level and practical ability. This paper discusses the theoretical basis and practical path of colleges and universities in Henan in inheriting and carrying forward the Yellow River culture.
