【Abstract】 On the arduous journey to the founding of CPC, Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao play the pioneering role. During the May 4 th New Culture Movement, Chen Duxiu had awakened a whole generation of the youth, and proposed that a strong communist party was needed to act as the proletariat’s pioneer and guide. Li Dazhao is the earliest and firmest Marxist in China and the ideological founder for CPC. The agreement between Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao to found a party was an anecdote in the history of CPC, which deserves a further study.更多还原
