【Abstract】 The study is designed to offer an interpretation to the key principle "reality-cognition-language" in Embodied-Cognitive Linguistics proposed by professor Wang Yin. The principle is explained in the study as:(i) language is resulted from the interaction of cognition with reality;(ii) reality is reflected from the interaction of language with cognition;(iii) cognition serves as a link between reality and language. The study, on the basis of data from Chinese and English, illustrates the interaction of reality, cognition and language.更多还原
