【Abstract】 In order to explore the current situation of science and technology supporting the development of modern service industry in Shanxi Province, this paper finds that the service industry in Shanxi Province has the problems of insufficient innovation ability, low degree of specialization, and imperfect condition for development. Through in-depth analysis of the causes and the powerful support of science and technology, the existing problems restricting the modernization development of the service industry are solved.
