COMSOL Multiphysics软件在矩形波导课堂教学中的应用

【摘要】 矩形波导是"电磁场与电磁波"课程中的重要内容。长期以来,在"电磁场与电磁波"的教材中,矩形波导中的电磁性质只有理论公式而没有精确的场分布图,这对于学生准确理解矩形波导中的电磁性质是不利的。为提高教学效果,利用COMSOL Multiphysics有限元软件设计开发金属矩形波导电磁性质仿真软件,并利用仿真软件给出了金属矩形波导中TE10和TM11波的电场、磁场和电流分布图。这些直观的仿真图像有助于学生理解电磁波在金属矩形波导中的传播规律,掌握金属矩形波导的相关理论,提高教学效果。

【Abstract】 Rectangular waveguide is an important part of the course “Electromagnetic Fields and Waves”. For a long time, in the textbook of “Electromagnetic Fields and Electromagnetic Waves”, the electromagnetic properties in rectangular waveguide have only theoretical formulas without precise field distribution diagrams. It is unfavorable for students to accurately understand the electromagnetic properties in rectangular waveguides. In order to improve the teaching effect, COMSOL Multiphysics finite element software is used to design and develop a metal rectangular waveguide electromagnetic property simulation experiment software, then the simulation software is used to simulate the electric field, magnetic field and current distribution of TE10 and TM11 waves in the metal rectangular waveguide. These intuitive simulation diagrams help students understand the propagation law of electromagnetic waves in metal rectangular waveguides, master the relevant theories of metal rectangular waveguides, and improve teaching effects.
