信息论与编码课程内容的多层次设计

【摘要】 信息论与编码课程设计是理论课程的延伸、总结和应用。针对信息论与编码知识体系庞大、学生难以学以致用的问题,结合信息安全专业对信源编码的需求,探索并设计了多层次信息论与编码课程设计内容,学生根据自身能力自主选择设计题目,充分发挥学生学习的主动性,使每个学生在不同层次、不同的侧重点上都感受到设计成功的喜悦,调动了学生的积极性和求知欲,锻炼了学生的设计能力,为提高学生的创新实践能力奠定基础。

【Abstract】 Curriculum design of Information Theory and Coding is an extension, summary, and application of theoretical course. The huge knowledge system of Information Theory and Coding often makes difficult for students to apply what they have learned. In this paper, with respect to the requirements of information security specialty on source coding, the multi-level contents for curriculum design of Information Theory and Coding is explored and designed to train students’ ability with different levels and different emphases. Under the proposed multi-level design contents, students can choose the design topic independently on the basis of their own ability, which gives full play to students’ learning initiative, makes each student feel the joy of design success, mobilizes the enthusiasm and curiosity of students, and lays the foundation for improving students’ innovative and practical ability.
