【Abstract】 The world is undergoing great changes unseen in a century. The global governance, science and technology, industries and energy transition are demonstrating unprecedented changes, and the COVID-19 epidemic has fueled the further evolution of the great change. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China will still keep strategic focus to realize steady economic growth under new development pattern of "dual circulation economy". China’s energy and chemical industry will shift to high-quality development, open new development mode with new concepts, get rid of traditional development way, continue to deepen supply-side structural reform, strengthen demandside management, and explore new space for industrial growth. By pursuing a carbon-neutral vision, innovation-driven and green development, it will continue to promote structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading, and foster stronger new drivers of industrial growth. Furthermore, it should actively embrace digital economy and intelligent manufacturing to enable traditional industries, unleash new dividends for industrial innovation through deeper and higher levels of reform and opening up, and enhance its position in the global supply chain, industrial chain and value chain to lay a solid foundation for becoming an industry leader in the next decade.更多还原
