乙醇的氢氧化钾溶液浸泡石油焦制备活性炭的研究
Preparation of activated carbon by soaking petroleum coke in potassium hydroxide solution of ethanol
【摘要】 以石油焦为原料,添加碱碳比2∶1的KOH为活化剂,探究了以乙醇水溶液作为溶剂浸泡石油焦制备活性炭的最佳条件。结果表明,含8%水的乙醇溶液、浸泡时间6 h、浸泡温度45℃可制得最优活性炭。最优活性炭的比表面积为1 885.3 m~2/g,碘吸附值为1 628.5 mg/g。对活性炭进行SEM分析、比表面积分析,表明利用乙醇溶液湿混石油焦制备活性炭具有非常高的可行性和工业前景。
【Abstract】 Using petroleum coke as raw material and adding KOH with alkali-carbon ratio of 2∶1 as activator,the optimum conditions for preparing activated carbon by soaking petroleum coke in ethanol aqueous solution were investigated.The results showed that the optimal activated carbon could be prepared by ethanol solution containing 8% water,soaking time of 6 h and soaking temperature of 45 ℃.The specific surface area of the optimal activated carbon was 1 885.3 m~2/g,and the iodine adsorption value was 1 628.5 mg/g.SEM analysis of activated carbon and specific surface area analysis showed that the preparation of activated carbon by wet mixing petroleum coke with ethanol solution had high feasibility and industrial prospect.
