凝集素的结构特征及其生物技术应用进展
Structural characteristics of lectin and advances in biotechnological application
【摘要】 凝集素是具有识别和结合不同碳水化合物结构能力的多价蛋白质,在这些蛋白质中,观察到的糖结合和不同的分子结构使它们成为一个庞大的异质组,在微生物、动物和植物中具有广泛的生物活性。来自植物和动物的凝集素通常用于直接防御病原体和免疫调节。本文重点阐明不同凝集素基团的结构和功能,为宿主与病原体的相互作用提供一些思路,以期为生物技术和新药物开发提供理论基础。
【Abstract】 Lectins are polyvalent proteins that have the ability to recognize and bind different carbohydrate structures.The sugar binding and different molecular structures observed in these proteins make them a large hetero-group with a wide range of biological activities in microorganisms,animals and plants. Lectins from plants and animals are commonly used for direct defense against pathogens and immune regulation. The focus of this paper is to elucidate the structure and function of different lectin groups,provide some ideas for host-pathogen interaction,and provide a theoretical basis for the development of biotechnology tools and new drugs.
