【摘要】 文章以文化翻译观的角度,考察1687年在巴黎出版的《中国哲学家孔夫子》一书中的孔子形象。耶稣会士们通过对孔子思想关键术语与《孔子生平》的再诠释和译介,书写了作为经院哲学家、古代哲人和天启先知的孔子形象,同时也投射了耶稣会士自身的宗教身份。这主要是由于耶稣会士们对于"适应策略"的维护和路易十四的赞助。耶稣会士们所塑造的孔子形象在17世纪欧洲人塑造中国形象过程中具有重要地位。更多还原

【Abstract】 From a perspective of cultural translation, the essay attempts to study the image of Confucius presented in Confucius Sinarum Philosophus published in 1687, Paris. The essay argues that Jesuits build an image of a scholastic, an ancient Greek philosopher and a prophet receiving Heavenly oracle through their reinterpretation and translation of key teachings and life of Confucius. Jesuits also project their religious identity on Confucius’ s image. The characterization results from Jesuits’ accommodation strategy and patronage of Louis XIV.The image of Confucius created by Jesuits plays an important role in"Reshaping of China"by Europeans in the seventeenth century.更多还原
